At only 27 years of age, Lucas Vidal quickly moved from the Berklee College of Music to some of the world’s most respected soundstages. He is already composing scores for The Cold Light of Day (Bruce Willis, Segourney Weaver) and The Raven (John Cusack), directed by James McTeigue (V For Vendetta). He was the youngest student ever to compose and record the score for a feature film with an 80-piece orchestra, and we are incredibly lucky to have him on our show today. We will show some of the recording sessions to Cold Light of Day, talk about his scoring techniques, and his recent venture Music & Motion Productions with his co-founder Steve Dzailowski. We will also hear some clips from The Raven and The Cold Light of Day. You don’t want to miss this.
